RENAISSANCE ROBES
((sdlg x Tet Bologongo) x (sdlg x sdlg)) EVre 28" EM
Handsome and tough for any kind of red, this dark mahogany red does well
surviving its nemesis the sun. A big multicolored watermark eye, without the
often apparent darker edge, is a bit of a surprise here. It is made up of an
unexpectedly light version of the petal color followed by slight yellow-orange
then green. All of this makes a singular selection that reblooms and delights.

BANGCOCK PEACOCK
((sdlg. x sdlg) x (sdlg x Zuppa Inglese)) D 26’’ M

A handsome instance of large proportions at 6 ¼”. Its color is rich gold blending to a wide rosy orange edge on all segments and a lasting smudge ofgreen in the throat. Those edges sport unrestrained boldly crafted ruffles that set the mood of its robust presentation. It opens quite flat making the most of its grand proportions.
As a parent, it passes on a fine set of genes
habitually.

As a further bribe to you stubborn
souls who will not yield to the shameless charms of the diminutive
versions of the multi-talented daylily, I offer this 3 3/4" temptress. With a form
not too often seen but right for its color pattern and boasting unique
dark veining on a light lavender pink background intensifying
as it approaches the triangular bright yellow then spring green throat.
The petals sport narrow almost white edges.
The paler more lavender sepals have a narrow dark followed
by a light edge.  In all fairness,  there isn't much more to
ask of any small elucidation of possibilities

(RAGG MOPP)
(sdlg x sdlg) D 24" ML

Ragg Mopp   D 24" ML  (sdlg x sdlg)   This precocious small flower bloomed its first late in the season and was a happy way to wind up a season.  Subsequently it has put in an appearance a bit earlier and performs admirably.  It produced those hooks from its debut on.  The blending colors smear themselves around the surface most elegantly producing a complex butter yellow edging with light orange to baby pink and a tad of white dispersed as the flower sees fit.  In addition, as is usually usual, the seersucker texture is heavy and survives a day in the sun spunkily.  The size, 4", makes it possible to use for large and little flowers.  Have fun.

T
he name says it all. Pretty, cute, 3 1/4", it has more grace and style
than those big guys, if you like that sort of thing. The color pattern
works marvelously well with their pastel hues enlivened by an
always spring green throat. If one of the eye tones isn't blue,
my cat is a monkey's uncle. The frilly wide edges of the petals match the cream sepals leaving the center of those petals and the modest eye to supply the color. A sure early opener on even the dullest of days
when a body can use a
bit of perky.

(ORANGE ADDITION)
(sdlg X sdlg)
SO-4-05T

A nice standout color of a light pinkish orange with a good emphatic thick ropey orange edge to set it off among its neighbors.
It is 4" to appeal to those of you who cotton to the small ones. It

is 4" for you hybridizers who will use any flower that's not too small and
effects a thing or more that catches your imagination. With a good scape,
reblooms and has a excellent bud count and plant habit, you can feel free to
worry about the fun stuff, making beautiful flowers.
